The Virgin Islands are amazing for sailing! Between the islands there is no much waves, very protected from the ocean same for the wind. Most of the islands including U.S.V.I and B.V.I are very close from each other, usually less than 4 miles. The largest part of the Virgin Islands are with mooring only 15$ a night to have a safe night with no worry and been in a natural reserve.
St-Maarten duch side/ St-Martin french side have many names, the capital of the Caribbean or the party island.This a very populated place about 60 000 persons. This is for sure the island where you will see much varieties in the culture. Even in sailing, Anguilla is British, Saba is Dutch and St-Bart (the famous one) is french. There is a lot of thing to do around St-Maarten.
As you can probably see in the destination pictures, Casa Blanca (also named Marsanne) is our Beneteau 46. She been with us in 13 countrys on a trip of 9000 nautical milles last years and crossing any kind of situations. Everybody love this boat she is one the great layout you can get between 43 and 48 feets. She is also a very fast boat (First hull), extremely strong (Oceanis series) and very spacious (owner version). The boat is very well maintained (always ready for ocean crossing) and also well equipped, dogers, bimini, wind generator, dinky support, twin power refrigerator, fiberglass bottom dinky with a 18 hp. This Oceanis 461 is available WITH or WITH OUT skipper.
